Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day- (n.) a day for the exchange of tokens of affection.

Valentine's day is such a fun day. I LOVE it! The past couple days everyone has been complaining on Facebook about how they're going to be lonely and hate Valentine's day and how dumb it is.

NOT TRUE!

Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays. It's doesn't matter if you're lonely or not...you don't need a special someone just to be happy that day, (I mean that'd be nice but...) you have TONS of family and friends who love you just the same! Make them one of your Valentine's if you don't have a "real" one. I was plenty happy today just with my friends and family :) My Parents left to the temple to day with some of there friends. I think that is such a fun way to spend Valentine's day. I can't wait to do that with my husband when I'm older ;) Anyway, I love Valentine's day whether or not I have someone special to celebrate it with. I've got amazing friends and family around who love me. Valentine's day is the day to express your love and generosity to those who truly mean something to you. I know all day today I told my friends I love them and how grateful I am for them. You never know when something could happen and those were your last words to them. Live life to the fullest no matter what day it is :)

My role models...
Happy Valentine's Day Mom and Dad!
I love you!!

Lately I've been...

Lately I've been obsessed with quotes! I'll look up quotes for anything, my moods, friendship, sports, family, relationships, and so on. I write my favorite ones down on a paper or put them on my phone. My most favorite are the inspirational ones and the funny ones. Here are my top 10 favorite:
1. "If a tie is like kissing you sister, losing is like kissing your grandmother with her teeth out." LOL
2. "Always remember to be happy because you never know who's falling in love with your smile"
3. "Keep smiling.. It makes people wonder what you've been up too."
4. "Beauty is power; a smile is its sword." (blog quote:))
5. "Life is something you do when you can't sleep."
6. "It's better to fail trying then to fail without attempting."
7. "Giving up doesn't always mean your weak; sometimes it means you're strong enough to let go."
8. "Friends are kisses blown to us by Angels"
9. "If winning isn't everything.. Why do they keep score?"
10. "Men forget everything; Women remember everything. That's why men need instant replays in sports." LOL

Those are awesome:) Whatever mood I'm in i always look up something inspirational, or funny, or just something to make me smile. I usually look up scriptures too. A lot of my favorites are from the Book of Mormon and the Bible. In seminary we've been studying the Old testament and I've found a lot of awesome scriptures in there that I love. I wanna share those too:
~Deut. 6:4-5
~Joshua 1:8-9
~Joshua 22:27
~Joshua 24:15
~1 Sam. 16:7
~Psalms 31:24
~Isaiah 1:18
~ Isaiah 5:20
*St. Mat. 5: 44
*St. Luke 2:10-16

I Love the scriptures they are truly my inspiration everyday. I love going to seminary every morning and studying them with my friends. It's such a great blessing:)

Long time no... blog?

HELLOO Bloggers!! It's been since the beginning of freshman year since I wrote on here! I can't believe its the middle of my Sophomore year already! Time flies when you're busy...

Anyway, this year has been SO crazy with cheer, church activities, schoooooool, friends and family! But I've been so blessed too. Right now is the off season for cheer until the real season of basketball starts (I can't wait:D) It's been really great this year because Marissa made the cheer team so I haven't
been so lonely on JV. Football season was an adventure. It was so much fun cheering at home games and staying for varsity games and THEN going on a bus to away games and hanging out with the JV cheerleaders and football players during the varsity games. SO MUCH fun!! I can't wait for basketball, it's gonna be a blast (except we don't get to go to away games:( oh well..) Church has been great, as always. This year at school I've had TONS of missionary moments, they weren't even big ones either just little things bout our church. Seminary has been really fun:) Sister Kortsen is a great teacher! We've been studying the Old Testament and it's actually really fun finding all these connections with the Book of Mormon. I love all the stories in the old testament, they are so cool! This Gospel really is a great and life changing blessing.

SCHOOL! Oh boyyyy.. I really love all my classes this year.

1st block: Art 1&2 with Ms. Toste, who is a very interesting being.
2nd block
: Chemistry with Mr.Carroll, who likes to fart on students who fall asleep in class or make old jokes that don't make any sense.
3rd block
: English 10A with Mr. Schaltesss(schleeter) who is the most "mantastic" english teacher ever even though he may be hard at times he knows how to teach students the right way.
4th block
: World studies with Ms. Bonner who is the craziest most entertaining teacher ever and yells and gets excited when lecturing about world history.
5th block: Algebra 2A with Mr. Maupin who I had for Geometry last year and gave me a C+(79.5%) but this year is actually doing a lot better and I like actually like his class instead of hate it.
6th block
: Spanish 2 with Senor Adams who is the craziest, and loudest, but fastest and shortest Spanish speaking gringo(white boy) I have ever met. He is a great teacher, but do not get on his bad side if you want him to go crazy angry Spanish on you.
And that sums up the 1st semester of my sophomore teachers in a nut shell :)

This year I have met so many new people it's amazing:) With all my new classes, I don't really have any with my friends besides 2 classes. But I've gotten to know A LOT of people. Also a ew family from Orem, Utah moved in this summer! They are so awesome! Nick and Cassie!:) I love you Cassie she is a such a cutie! Even though she may look older than me (because she's like 5 inches taller than me) I'm still older than her! She is such a cool person! Anywhoooo, my family is doing great! I'm so blessed to be in the Anderson Family. Everyday I thank Heavenly Father for my beautiful and loving family. I'm truly grateful because without them, I would be nothing today. I would have no motivation or inspiration to do anything. They are INCREDIBLE! I Love this Christmas season. It's one of my Favorites. And this year for Christmas I wished for Nothing. Yupp that's right.. A 15 year old girl asked Santa for nothing. nada. zippp! I'm just so grateful and thankful for everything I have, I don't want or need anything! This Year has been Amazing and i can't wait to start a new one!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyo
ne!!

This is my favorite picture out of the WHOLE Year! Thanks Sister Dickson! <3

I can't believe it!

May 27, 2010 was the day graduated MIDDLE SCHOOL! I'm so excited to finally be out of middle school, but its sad 'cause I'll miss all my friends over the summer :'( But I'm basically a freshman (frosh, or fresh meat) now! Graduation was really good it went well and then afterword's, Kayla's family and my family went to Mavericks for dinner.. It was way good! Then we went to our graduation dance!! It was super fun and Kayla had a wheelchair and was dancing and pushing her around. Then at the end for a slow dance theres this guy Morgan who wanted to dance with Marissa, but he was "to nervous to ask such a beautiful girl" so Nathan asked for him. Then they danced and my mom got some of it on video and Kayla took pictures and a video. It was pretty funny, but we all forced her to do it for a good cause (Morgans the only white boy at our school and hes kind of a retard, nobody really likes him) but that's why she got voted biggest heart out of the girls at our school. Anyways!.. I'm so excited for all the things to come in the future! High School, Seminary, Boys, and more:) It's just the beginning...

What? It's a blessing??

I looked up the definition of 'friend'. According to http://www.dictionary.com/, the two deinitions say "friend: a person whom knows, likes, and trust" and "friend: a person attatched to another by feelings of affection or personal reguard". It really stood out to me that friends are such a blessing to have.
Friends know one another, and of course they like each other, more like love. And they can trust each other with keeping fun secrets, and stuff like that! When you get to know someone you never know , they could be your best friend til the end, or if its a guy, he could end up being your husband :) Friends are such a blessing to have. Both you and your friends are attached together some how.. your share feelings, talk bout stuff, and your fun secrets! im so grateful to have my great, and wonderful frriends in my life no matter if there older than me, younger than me, my age, or my sibling.. Having friends is no doubt about it... a blessing!

HIGH SCHOOL!

This last Wednesday I got to sign up for my class, of course for High School! I chose, English 9A and have summer reading :( but I'm going to read The Silver Kiss.. and Summer of a German Soldier. I heard they are good books. Next I'm taking Biology A. Then Geometry A, my teacher recommended me Geometry or Geometry A, so I just took the advanced class because I'm planning to take all advanced. Next I have to take Intro PE :((I don't like PE).. then I have to take a Health Class and Computer Apps. (I love computers ;)) and my elective is Spanish 1.. BUT I had to choose 3 back-up electives, so I chose Ceramics 1, Art 1, and Wood 1. I'm REALLY looking forward to High School!

Finally!

I finally have the time to post something! Starting school, gymnastics, church, the new year, etc.. i have been so busy.
School has been so busy now that i am in the 8th grade. I have all my friends, but new teachers that are not the best :/ P.E. is basically the most easiest since I am still in gymnastics. Now in history we are studying for an EXAM!!!!! I'm not excited. Oh well I'll just have to study hard :)
Next is gymnastics. This last competition season I competed level 5, and i got to go to the state competition. On the other hand it was on a Sunday so i decided not to go. Now I'm back in the gym just practicing regularly.
Church.. well I've been the 1st counselor ever since I became a beehive. The old beehives have left and now new ones are coming in. I just love coming to the church it makes me feel happy and I no it's the place to be.
2010.. this year is going to be great. I am starting my freshman year at San Benito High in August. Plus I'll be starting seminary, AHH!! but I'm excited to start all that. It's going to be tough in High school, but that's why we are here on earth, is to face the challenges Heavenly Father has given us :)

Catch-Up

School has been so busy and never had time to blog. This school year started out well. My teachers are good and all my classmates are pretty nice. I like being at school, but sometimes it can be a bore. In my gymnastics life, I have been practicing my routines and next week is my very first meet of competing level 5. I am SO excited but a little nervous. and the day before my first meet is my BIRTHDAY! I'm finally turning 13. A teenager at last :)
The first day of school grandma was with us, but then after we left, she left.
